Hi Pippi, (and anyone else who reads)
I hope this post finds you well. Just found your blog via your youtube channel this evening. I just found your channel this evening too. I am having a bit of a binge session. You are so upbeat and sweet. I am adoring your videos. Plus the whole girl power thing of being on the road on your own and doing it on your own. I LOVE IT.
Cliff notes version of myself or my story (sorry if ramble.. I am a talker) My name is Bridgette, I am married to my Angry Texan who is retired Military and met him in Alaska (my homestate) and have traveled all over the world with him and by myself and friends. I love to travel and after about a year somewhere? I start to get that itch. So in 2011 while still in Europe I first started seeing RV full time and unschooling or homeschooling kids. I told my SO ” DUDE… found what we will do when you retire in 2019″ we have degrees and will try to find remote jobs and it will be a blast. Now…in 2014 life threw a curve ball with my husband becoming a disabled vet and being medically retired at just 15 yrs active service (sadly needed five more) and then two weeks later? His father passed away. Talk about crappy month. But we have bounced back as much as can and still enjoy what we can from life. We would hit the road in a couple of months if did not have my siblings with us. We have had guardianship of three of them since 2009. So with one more graduating this June and the last next June? (2018) I said again ” Sweetie…. remember that hair brain idea? IT IS POPULAR! Let’s do it.” So we are. Plan is Jan 1 2019. Anyways that is not really a whole lot about me individually but this is turning into a ramble. I just wanted to say hello to you and anyone else. Tell you thanks for sharing. For being one more reason aka person that shows this lifestyle is doable. We may do a blog and vlog. Not sure. If we do? I will be sure to give link to you. Until then? I will stick around and soak up your smile and knowledge.
respectfully

December 15, 2017 at 9:38 am #2690PippiKeymasterBridgette, I’m so happy to read this great story of yours. Sorry the response is so delayed. We seem to be kindered spirits with that one-year-itch-itis, travel experience… Wait til you get an RV, it will progress to a one-month-itsh-itis.
Please keep me updated with everything. I wish the best for you guys!
Happy trails!
