Brookings, OR area RV parks

Greetings, all-

Happy 2018!! I am making plans to spend Summer (May – Sept) in one of my favorite places on the planet… the area around Brookings, OR.

Since I am new to FT RV living (now, 4 months in- and absolutely loving it!), I am not at all familiar with any of the RV parks in that area.

If anyone has experience with parks from Gold Beach to Brookings, would you give me some thoughts on same? Seems like there lots of parks. I’m under 55, and my rig is a 2001 Class A Fleetwood Storm. A smaller park, with Trees & perhaps walking distance to ocean, would be groovy! Also, under $500 per month, would be great.

I just found this post so hope you found a place in Brookings. We stayed at the Harris Beach State Park campground for the month of June last year and loved it.
