Hi everyone,
Got in using Google plus, very nice!
The first video I watched was the grease gun. I was looking for reviews before I made a purchase. I hate those things.
So my wife and I retired 12/16, sold it all and headed out from Seattle with a huge 5th wheel I said we’d never own and new truck. We lasted 30 years with Costco accounting for her, 35 with Boeing as a machinist/quality guy for me.
Fortunately my dad was a jack of all trades and engineer and the apple didn’t roll to far after falling off the tree.
So far no major failures but we keep finding small projects to do to keep me entertained
We made it as far as the Texas coast when the weather finally got warm and have been here 3 sunny months. You don’t get that in Seattle, Oregon is so much better than WA.
So next month were heading farther east. Haven’t been through all the gulf states yet.
Wiring is next on your project. When I did mine they sold me 3 tools you really can’t do the job without, a large cable cutter, manual (beat it with a hammer) crimper and a heat gun. A propane touch was handy too for heavy soldering
I found I needed it to make the #2 wires workable by filling them with solder so I could make really tight bends in the ends and get them into the connector holes without them coming all un-stranded.
I know you can figure out how to contact me if you want to.
Tally ho!
