Hi folks. Hope someone has dealt with this previously and can provide some guidance on a fix.
When I check the LP levels inside the rig on the indicator light panel that shows all the different levels in my tanks. The LP will indicate full until it’s almost empty. Then it indicates empty. I fill the tank and I get a full reading on the panel inside again. The gauge located on the tank reads accurately. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Hi Vin, I don’t have a digital reader for my LP level. However, it sounds like a problem with the reader or the sensor. Perhaps you could call the digital reader’s manufacturer and see if it has a reset option. They also might suggest a new sensor, which could be the problem.

Does your tank have an analog reader connected to the tank that you can read outside? Mine has a gauge that I can see where the levels are at that’s not dependent on digital technology. Perhaps in the meantime you can reference yours if your tank is equipped with one.

Best of luck, if you find anything more, would you please let us know what the issue is? Thank you!

Try this old school method…. light 2 burners on your stove. Go out to your tanks and spray with a mist of water….the water will freeze on the tank at the propane line.

Pippi I have both types of gauges. Inside the coach is the digital and on the tank is an analog gauge. The gauge on the tank is accurate. I’ll check with the manufacturer on the inside digital panel.

    Thanks

PS: Received my “keep it simple” sticker a few days ago……for the second time. This time It made it immediately to the rig so I don’t lose it. Thanks

Thanks for the tip scootertrash. I knew about that trick because of my gas grill. I do have two gauges one in the rig and the other connected to the tank. The outside gauge is accurate.
