    Upon return home from our recent trip, I found my trailer light cable has been pinched, something I can fix. However, how do you keep your cable from getting pinched, my idea is to attach the cable higher on the jack riser, then with slack in the cable tie it to the truck with enough room to plug in. Any ideas?

    This is hard to imagine without a pic. Some trailers’ wires are very far away from where the trailer mounts to the tow ball. I’d say as much slack as possible is always good and use zip ties when they come in handy.
