Good morning everyone,
I want to share my first RV experience with everyone. I’m super excited, we just purchased last night a 1999 Fleetwood Bounder it was listed at $13,985 and we got it for a steal at $9,985 with only 47,000 miles on it. All this baby needs is a bit of cleaning and some new vinyl flooring and we are good to go.

April 25, 2016 at 9:55 am #1618PippiKeymasterI wish you guys the best of luck? Hows the renovations coming? Are you guys in and settled yet? 🙂
April 27, 2016 at 3:22 pm #1628mandi2880ParticipantHi Pippi,
They are coming along slowly, I’ve been working on the floor for two weeks now and the small cuts around things is really pushing my patience. I started my smart tiles today and they are a bit harder than I imagined. We are supposed to go off on our first trip on Friday and I’m nervous that it won’t get done.
All I have left is around the bed for the floor and around the sink for the backsplash.
I’ve been racking my brain of everything we will need which is stressing me out even more. But after our first test trip I’m sure it will be easier.
May 4, 2016 at 10:02 am #1630PippiKeymasterYes, the floor can take quite some time. I think in total mine took about three months because I got a little more bored of all the cuts and slow process. I lived with the wood floor in the bedroom for a bit of time because of it. Hopefully if it doesn’t get done, you guys can just leave it til you get back and get some ore motivation.
Don’t worry about what you might forget, you’ll have a great list for next time after this trip! 😀
Best of luck and happy trails! 🙂
