I would like to start rv’ing soon. Has anyone here been to any rv rallies, they sound like they could be fun or do you just hear a lot of sales pitches
I’ve never been so I can’t give the best advice. They cost a good penny to get in and then you’re camping with a bunch of people near you with what seems like a floor room that might be a cross between Camping World and a home and garden show. Not that that’s a bad thing.
I’ve heard a couple different folks mention the Escapees rallies and that they can be fun. I’m sure they all can be and it really depends on the go-er 🙂
But again, I’ve never been to one before, only seen pamphlets and ads.

It looks like they have day passes for $10 per day, unfortunately, it doesn’t cover seminars.

The Rally Day Pass grants admission to the indoor and outdoor exhibitor areas only, admission to the seminars and evening entertainment are not included. Cost is $10 per day, per person and children 17 and under are free. Tickets are available only at the onsite day pass ticket gate and cannot be pre-ordered.

Thursday February 26: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday February 27: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday February 28: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

I guess you could use the event to check out what peeps are doing with their RVs. Things like getting ideas for mods inside and out. Peeps used to do that when I did a stint in real estate sales. You’d get peeps going through an open house just to get ideas on what to do in their house. Take your camera instead of relying on your memory. I guess camera phones are getting to be good enough quality that you don’t need a point and shoot camera.
Networking with others is also a great spin-off.
