Hi Pippi,
I’ve been truly enjoying watching your journey over these past few years. You always make me smile with your calm demeanor and seemingly endless cheeriness.
You mentioned wanting to see Fireflies (aka, Lightning Bugs). Should you miss them in Tennessee, I want to invite you to visit the Chicagoland area where they appear in late June.
Furthermore, and more specifically, I’d like to invite you to come visit the Chicagoland Skydiving Center (CSC for short) in Rochelle, IL (just 20 mins west of DeKalb, IL on Rt 88) which is about 90 minutes west of downtown Chicago. At CSC is a small RV park with both 30 and 50 Amp hookups with full water/sewer hookups too, so you’d be able to stay in comfort. CSC offers Tandem Skydives for those who are Altitude-Curious and also has a skydiving school called Freefall University so you can get your USPA A-License and learn to jump with others.
I jump there regularly (usually every weekend throughout the warm seasons) and have a comfortable 2008 Jayco 31′ travel trailer in the RV park there to make things convenient and comfortable. So, please consider making plans to come for our Independence Boogie, the week prior to July 4th, where you can make a jump or two, make new friends, see fireflies, fireworks, and if we’re lucky this year, maybe even a hot-air balloon ride (if we have one, you can be sure that I’ll be jumping out of it … but you can just come with for the view’s).
Anyway, It’s always a joy to see you come out with a new video and I hope to see you in Illinois sometime soon. The best to you in whatever/wherever you decide to do/go. May your journey continue to be as much of a blessing to you as your sharing of it has been to us.
Cheers,
