Hello, Pippi!
If you are serious about your pursuit of lightning bugs…and seeing Tennessee, please consider…
1. Swinging through the Ozarks of Missouri. The Ozarks has lots of fun things to see and do. It’s home to some of the world’s largest springs and has three federally designated scenic rivers…the Eleven Point, Jacks Fork and Current River. So you may want to consider a day on one of these rivers canoeing. I have been blessed to live upon the banks of Current River for many, many years…watching the sun rise over it for thousands of mornings. The area also has several old mills that are worth seeing.
2. In Kentucky, visit the Louisville/Lexington area. This is the home of race horses and Bourbon. You’ll see lots of beautiful horse racing stables, and even if you aren’t into whiskey, taking a tour of an old distillery like Buffalo Trace is just a lot of fun.
3. If you are going to Tennessee, Beale Street in Memphis is a great experience…and then all the way to the east, of course, are the Smokies, in which something new is always around the next bend.
Anyway, I could ramble on and on with suggestions, but I’ll stop here…just know that in all of these states you will find plenty of lightning bugs! I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!
Greg
