First— Thanks Pippi for the vids… They are very fun and inspirational… Also they are something you don’t HAVE to do, so providing this site and the vids is super cool… You should provide a paypal link so the members can contribute to the cost of the site..

Anyhow… Now for my “singles RV profile page”… hahaha

My name is Jay and I’m an Austin, TX native. 37yrs old… I was born and raised in Fort Worth, but I have been away from DFW since graduating from high school. I attended college at UT-Austin,graduate school in CT at Yale, then 5 years in Los Angeles, a year in Seattle, and finally 5 years in Chicago. I am brand new to the RV life and I love it.

As for work… I recently sold 85% of my software development and consulting business. I love what I do, but it was killing me…haha. Spending 100 days per year on the road, working 100 hours per week for 12 years would kill anyone.. Add to that, that you have spent your life creating a business and being successful but not creating a life for yourself.. Anyhow, sold the bulk of the business to a Fortune 500 company and bought my rig.. Just me and my dog named Ruben.. I will post pics if the site allows.. I’m so happy, and I feel like that as I am nearing 40yrs old, that I am starting to actually live my life..

I am also easygoing, honest, fun, and straightforward. I am an outgoing person who is grounded with goals for the future. I am thankful for my past, and I am grateful for my wonderful parents who taught me the lessons of life. I am close to my family, although they happen to be scattered all over the country.

I’m at the point in my life where I want to start slowing down… Less professional life and more personal life…

I can’t seem to be able to add pics… I assume you need your own server space and simply add links for pics to be posted????

Hi Jay, yes, you can either upload your pics to your own server or use links from Facebook or Pintrest or some other site that has direct links to images.

By the way, that’s a great idea to let folks help contribute to the site. Thanks 🙂
