Hello, I’m an RV liver, for the past three years. I’m about to leave my winter, quarters for a trip. But it’s come time to buy new tires. I have a 2008 bounder, with the original Michelin tires. I have heard and him being run around by the tire companies. And they talk of RV tires and bus tires. But I have also heard the truck tires are just as good. What’s the truth? I am forced at this time, To not know the better. My tires are Michelin, 235 80 22.5. Michelin’s, for this size average $700 to over $1200 per tire. I have also heard you can purchase a good truck tire that will fit this RV for around three to $400. Such extremes and prices tell me there is a lot of lying going on. What’s the truth?

Dwight, what did you decide on your tires? Truck tires are just as good. Some sensitive people may say they ride a little rougher but what you need to know is to NEVER buy re-treads.
It cost me a couple grand to put new tires on my rig this summer and I shopped around for a good deal on quality tires.
