    Does anyone have input as to if you can save MPG traveling with empty water tanks as opposed to full? I had thought about reserving ahead of time at places with full hookups and such where possible. Apparently the prospect of living out of an RV does not work for my other half. But I might be if I go looking for work and such…
    I still have not decided yet on a class C or a class A but it will be one of those.

    Hi jskline, depending on your tank size, let’s say yours would be approximately 50 gallons, that’s over 400 lbs of additional weight you’re adding to the RV. It definitely impacts the mileage you get out of your RV. However, you must factor that against the convenience of having fresh water ready to go or using the restroom while traveling, washing hands…
