Pippi, I need to get rid of my old carpet. I saw how you used vinyl composite adhesive on your floor. How has it held up? Any problems with it coming up over time? My motor home is only used 5 or 6 times a summer, them it sits in the open, and it gets hot and humid here in VA. (How long ago did you do your floor?).
    Very informative article.

I’ve had zero problems with my awesome new floor. I’m loving it everyday. It was a wise choice to use the vinyl tile composite and recommend it to you guys as well if it’s going to get hot and humid. I recommend it also because some of the pieces you’ll have to cut will be so wonky and weirdly shaped that it won’t be able to naturally fit with the tongue-and-groove system that floating floors use.

Floating floors can work in very large rectangular rooms but the RV is a little less friendly for them.

Best of luck with your flooring and post some pics when you’re done!
