I’m in Canada and would like to spend the winter camping in warm weather some day. I hear so much about people camping in the desert. I like the idea of being spaced out from others and not camping in a ‘parking lot’ of trailers. From what I’ve seen on the internet, some people say you can camp for two weeks in one spot, some say longer. Some say it still cost something and some say it’s free. I’ve often seen the term BLM mentioned. From what I’ve seen, it’s a landmass on the west coast that is managed by the government. Is this a good place to camp?
Any advice is appreciated.
