ParticipantIn addition to plugging up the cracks and crevices that mice like to get into we also used moth balls and sticky mouse traps. Seemed to help a ton, although I don’t know why moth balls would help, but it’s just something my wife had heard about and it was worth a try. Haven’t seen or heard any mice in our RV since.

ParticipantGreat vid 🙂 I have an itty bitty fan in my 89 bounder and that new fan you put in looks nice. I might have to look into replacing mine with one of those. I guess my only worry is how much less natural light it may let in.

ParticipantA Class A Airstream, now that is cool 🙂 I would go for it.

ParticipantI write software full time too. Almost all RV parks worth staying at have Wifi these days… yeah, it won’t usually be great, but I back it up with a pretty fat Verizon data plan that is always rock solid. I just sure wish Verizon had an unlimited plan, but a few cuss words later and a pretty dang good asus dark knight router
and I can usually get enough cats. ( check madeofcats.com if you don’t know what I mean )-

ParticipantI guess it just depends on if you stick to good weather and spend a lot of time outdoors. You wouldn’t want to spend a winter month in there… or at least, I wouldn’t, but I have a 31 foot RV and it’s more than enough room for us.

ParticipantThe only problem with going bigger is it will limit the places you can go, and of course you have to drive that beast, so keep that in mind. I have a family of 3, plus the 2 older kids on occasion making us a family of 5 for short stints. We get along in a 31 foot 89 Bounder, but it’s a bit of a crunch past 4 people. I have been eyeballing the newer Fleetwood Bounder classics that have bunks in them. Anyhow, good luck!
