I own a three bedroom house. I have thought about putting a tiny house in the backyard and renting out 2 of the bedrooms. Although living in the backyard is not allowed as long as I retain a bedroom in the house it shouldn’t be anyone’s business how much time I spend in my “studio”. The other advantage is I still have access to my house so I can see what the renters are doing. Just not sure I want to deal with renters so I would prefer selling and finding a safe area to have my tiny house so I’m very interested in this thread.
