Hi Pippi, Since the glassware set may have belonged to your ‘grandmother’s grandmother’, that would make them possibly over 100 years old, which would definitely classify them as antique. And since you mentioned that your ancestry is Swedish, i.e. European, that may make your heirloom antique glassware rare and valuable. It would be prudent to have them appraised and insured accordingly.

Hey Pipi, Over 20 years ago, I worked as a movie extra for a major motion picture that was filming in my area. It was a part-time, minimum wage, non-union gig. But I still made about $1000 over the course of a month just hanging out on the set, watching the stars do their thing, and eating the free food from craft services 🙂 They also offered free massages but I didn’t want it. Obviously I didn’t do this job for the pay but rather for the experience. During the month of filming in the area, I was able to be a stand-in for one of the actors as well as background for several scenes. Several of the extras were also given the opportunity to act out non-speaking solo scenes. I was also able to network with many of the entertainment professionals on set such as make-up artists, asst directors, bodyguards, etc.

Yeah, it wouldn’t be fun if the RV Houseboat decided to turn into a submarine one day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Za63ltkMGGE I am also looking into boating because it would be nice to travel around the Caribbean, South America, and elsewhere. I am subscribed to the Youtube channel “Gone with the Wynns” who were rv’ers and transitioned into sailboats. They have awesome videos. Check them out if you are not already subscribed.

Hi Pippi, I’ve been looking at different types of RV’s as well as boats and houseboats, too. There is even an RV that converts to a houseboat called the TerraWind RV, a bit expensive at $800k. God willing, I’ll find the right one. Best wishes, Rod
