Mountain bikes are a great source of fun and exercise. As you say, they are compact and can easily travel in an RV compartment. Electric bikes have become a popular option, however you lose the exercise component. Bikes are a good way to see parts of the area not otherwise accessible strictly from the RV. You don’t have to feed the bike, but you will want to feed the biker. Thanks for the insightful post.

Arlin QModeratorGood luck with those repairs. Its important to stay on top of these maintenance items so you can enjoy you RV and keep up it’s value.
Arlin QModeratorElectrical problems in an RV can be quite serious. If you smell burning coming from inside the RV grab the fire extinguisher because something is burning. Make your way outside quickly to disconnect from shore power. You must resolve this problem before reconnecting to shore power as your personal safety is paramount, which of course you seem to have taken these precautions.
There are several reasons why an A/C could blow breakers and indeed breakers are not generally meant to be reset like light switches. Consider replacing the breaker. You are well advised to get an A/C service tech involved since the risk to life and property hang in the balance.
Please keep us posted on how you resolve this issue as I am sure many will be curious. Remember be extra safe when working around electrical components and “look out your power” if you will be working on any energized components. Keep a fire extinguisher within easy reach.
Be safe.
Arlin QModeratorThank you for your post. Yes, RV slide outs are a great design upgrade but they require maintenance and repair. Look at Pippi’s video on slide out repair. When repairing RV slide outs it’s very important to support the slide out weight safely. She also has another video about slide out maintenance you might find helpful.
Arlin QModeratorWater leaks in an interior wall, what a mess. Often times there is no access panel, these RV’s and motorhomes were not built to be taken apart easily. Be careful when you cut into an RV or motorhome wall especially adjacent to a bathroom. Although the wall is not load bearing there may well be vent pipes or wiring in that wall so take care to avoid cutting those utilities.
You may want to consider installing an access panel if this problem is likely to repeat itself. After installing an access panel you may want to consider installing shut off valves on water supply line. And of course if you have ongoing concerns about leaks you can install leak detection devices.
Thank you for your post and you can check out RV and motorhome repair videos on the Pippenings YouTube channel and especially these videos about water leaks in your RV or Motorhome. If you like the content consider any level of support possible. We are dedicated to bringing quality content and every little bit helps.
Wish you luck
