I write how I speak so please excuse my grammar. I just watched your video, mad respect for how independent you are. I’m self made as well so I can relate with you. Anyone can succeed on their own as long as they do not quit or give up.
My mother owned an industrial cleaning business so I grew up learning all about it. Just an idea but have you ever considered washing windows for extra cash? Your investment would be very minimal. To start all you would require is a couple five gallon buckets, a couple natural sea sponges, a cloth shammy, some super fine steel wool, a straight edge with a couple razor blades, a couple different size squeegees, a small step ladder or similar, and the product. Charge by the window. There will always be a need.
There is a product called “TSP” It is very inexpensive and it goes a long way. You can buy it in bulk and it will last you forever. Google tsp cleaning solution – you want the powder form. For example when cleaning windows a small handful in a five gallon bucket would be enough to wash every window in a 1400 square foot house. It leaves windows streak free. You can use this product on just about anything. The stronger you mix it the more aggressive it becomes. For example you can wash greasy walls in a kitchen with it before painting etc. It’s mild on your hands unless you are allergic.
Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any. I’m writing you a book here. It takes me a long time to type. Anyway I have other questions but I’ll wait to ask them later as I become more accustomed to your website. I will say I am grateful to have found a place to communicate about rv living. I long for peace in my life. I do not have that now nor will anyone ever give it to me as long as they have access lol. I can dream though.
XBlingmanParticipantHello Pippi,
You have a great attitude. I loved watching a few of your videos. I have a few questions out of curiosity if you don’t mind me asking. How long have you been living in your recreational vehicle? How do you make financial ends meet? Who’s your camera guy when making videos?
I’ve been really considering purchasing a recreational vehicle and living out in the western part of the US. I own a home now and I’ve been searching for another home to buy in a few different locations including Denver, Co, California and Nevada. I’m wanting to relocate where the climate is better than where I’m living now. If you’d like google the word “Sperling” and click on “top lists” You can search all of the states or only choose one to view the differences between economy, climate, cost of living, crime rates, etc. Climate is very important to me the comfort index being pleasant.
I’m happy to have found your website. This looks like a great place to learn the in’s and out’s of rv living. Your happy go-lucky demeanor and your passion for what you believe in is what attracted me to join your forum. I found your videos I’ve watched to be very informative and pleasant to watch.
Thank you,
btw, I had to join twice. I preferred my other screen name “Boogalu” but after I joined it would not let me reset my password. Each time I tried I would get a blank email that had instructions but no link to change my password. Not a big deal, I’ll just be XBlingman.
